Notice by the ex-landlord demanding possession after expiry of lease

A landlord may choose to terminate a tenancy at the end of a lease or expiry of lease period. If a landlord would like to end a lease when its term expires, the landlord is required to give notice to the tenant for the delivery of possession of the demised premises even though the lease already specifies the termination date.
